Patrick Behnke is a violist, composer, improviser, and multi-media artist born in San Bernardino, California and raised in the metropolitan Detroit, Michigan area. Currently living near Los Angeles, Patrick regularly performs with a community of composers and improvisers and is a current active member of the Apt Heavens duo, the Matsumoto/Behnke Duo, the electroacoustic ensemble Ice Water Tea, and the trio In Transit. Patrick has also been active as a founding member of the new music ensemble the Desert Quill Quartet.
